As it is also well-connected to Manhattan, it's a good base for enjoying Broad Channel as well as New York City itself, giving you the best of both worlds during your stay. Take your kids to The Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge for some educational activities or to Rockaway Beach where you can enjoy swimming, surfing and surf fishing in the glistening Atlantic Ocean. Being one of the few New York City public beaches where you can actually get in the water, Rockaway is certainly popular as is The Waterfront Home Villa.
