PrésentationLocated in north western Arcadia, Kazakos is one of the only 4 star hotels in Dimitsana, a picturesque village built on the ruins of the ancient city of Teuthis. You can visit the remains of the acropolis as well as have a look around Dimitsana's churches while strolling through the village's cobbled streets. Dimitsana's hidden gem has got to be its public library, which is packed with rare manuscripts and archaeological finds. Other attractions include a water-power museum, the Byzantine Filosofou Monastery and the stunning pine forests to the north. The Kazakos Hotel is located in a large 3-storey farm house dating back to 1850, a perfect example of the rustic architecture which is traditional in this part of rural Greece. Before being converted into a hotel in 1990, it was the home of the local Kazakos family, who ran a grocers shop out of the house's ground floor rooms. Today, it is the perfect idyll for a truly Arcadian vacation. Since 1999, it has been successfully run by Theonimfi and Irini who will welcome you warmly to this family-run hotel as well as serve you a lavish breakfast every morning. If you enjoy outdoor pursuits and fishing, then your landladies can provide you with lots of information about what the local countryside has to offer. Réserver |
