The town is most well known for its artistic works including the restored frescoes of Piero della Francesca, the master of renaissance painting and other very interesting monuments. Arezzo is a well-known ancient city, home to the most famous “Fiera dell’Antiquariato”(antiques fair) and of the large goldsmith show (over 2000 firms in town), as well as traditional feasts that go back to the Middle Ages , like “il Saracino”.
