Provenca's farmhouse is settled on the top of a hill placed in the green Tuscany country, near the street linking Val di Chiana to Val d'Orcia. It is constituted of an ancient house built during the last period of 18th century, carefulIy restored, keeping the classic country style, folIowing perfect1y the old Tuscany tradition. The farmhouse is surrounded by c1ay's calanques and from 27 hectare (about 67 acres) of farm, filled with woods and olives. One piece of the ground even falIs into the natural reserve of-Pietraporciana, bounded with the "Natural and Cultural Artistic Park of Val d'Orcia", recently dec1ared UNESCO Word Heritage Found"The Provenca" is set between the Fucoli's Archeological site and the etruscan necropolis of Tolle, plus it is already mentioned in 1287 into the "Statutum Comunis Clanciani" with the duty of keeping as wood the surrounding grounds.During shiny days Trasimeno lake, Chiusi lake and Montepulciano lake can be seen with a c1ear glance, sometimes even reaching Perugia. It is the perfect location not only to relax yourself on holiday but also to plain naturalisti c, enogastronomical, historical/archeological, landscaped excurslons.Dogs are welcome. We have a large and protected area equipped with kennels where they can be left free while you are going sightseeing
